Aguata Union of Atlanta is the diaspora branch for indigenes of Aguata Local Government area of Anambra State of Nigeria, residing in Georgia and the environs. We associate in unity and harmony, and dedicate ourselves to our individual and communual welfare.

Aguata Union of Atlanta was formed in 2008 to advance the interest of Aguata Members here in Georgia, to encourage the development of our cultural and social heritage, and also to advance the interest of Aguata Indigenes in Nigeria.

A core part of our mission is to positively impact our home communities in Nigeria. To this end, Aguata Union will annually pursue an empowerment initiative to create life changing opportunities at home.
